TiSO Sweeper Speed Gates

TiSO's Sweeper range is the speed gate family used in lobbies, corporate receptions and transport interchanges where throughput and appearance both matter. The range covers Sweeper-S, Sweeper, Sweeper-SH, Sweeper-W, Sweeper-M, Speedblade, Jetpan and SLIDE, together with high-glass HG variants where taller barriers are required.

Barriers are 8 mm tempered glass with polished safety edges, swinging in the direction of travel, and side panels use 8 mm tempered glass with LED backlighting. Opening and closing times vary by model: 0.3 and 0.6 seconds on the standard Sweeper, 0.5 and 0.9 seconds on Speedblade, and 0.7 and 1.0 seconds on Sweeper-S. Sweeper-S is rated at 30 persons per minute through a 550 mm lane and 60 persons per minute in free access mode.

Lane planning is where the model choice is made. Sweeper-S has a 110 mm cabinet width for side, middle, normal and wide lanes, which is the option when floor space is tight. Sweeper and Speedblade use wider cabinets at 200 mm and 290 mm. For accessibility, TiSO offers DDA-compliant configurations in standard 500 to 550 mm and wide 900 mm versions, and Sweeper-W provides a 1,200 mm lane.

Detection uses ten safety sensors positioned at the top and bottom of the lane to distinguish an individual from a person with a trolley, luggage or a wheelchair. Alarm conditions for intruder, tailgating, opposite direction, anti-masking and barrier panel open are all available as dry contacts. Entry and exit control is by a dry contact closure of no more than 200 milliseconds, and a fire alarm input opens the leaves automatically.
