The Parkomax Parking Management System covers the commercial side of a car park: how vehicles are admitted, how stay duration is calculated, how payment is collected and how the operator sees what happened. It is offered in four access modes, and most sites end up combining more than one.
Ticket-based operation dispenses a physical ticket at entry, with a validator at exit that calculates the fee. The ticket and QR variant issues a ticket carrying an encrypted unique QR code for secure access and payment verification. Ticketless operation uses ANPR cameras to identify vehicles at entry and exit with no media at all. Long-range operation uses vehicle-mounted RFID tags read from a distance, which suits employee parking, VIP access and event scenarios.
Hardware spans entry parking terminals with ticket dispensing and ANPR compatibility, exit terminals that accept cards, contactless, mobile wallets, QR and RFID cards as well as cash, indoor and outdoor auto pay stations, Tap-n-Go contactless terminals, and information kiosks. Terminals connect over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or cellular, and support remote diagnostics and software updates, anti-tamper locking and multi-language interfaces. Barrier gates are integrated from Nice, PERCo and TiSO rather than supplied as a Parkomax product.
The software is modular. Gate Control handles open and close commands and gate cycle tracking. Entry Access Management covers tickets, transactions and visitor logs. Property Management handles properties, opening times, vehicles and permissions. There are also Employee Management, Valet Services, Devices and Settings modules, plus Business Insights for entry and exit overviews, occupancy and payment statistics, revenue and access reports. Monthly and season parking is handled by the separate Tenant Management Software with subscription plans and automated renewals.
Payment collection accepts cash, debit and credit cards, mobile wallets including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay, NFC, QR scan-to-pay and online payment. Named payment integrations include Verifone, Tahseel, Nexgo, Apex and Neoleap SurePay.
