CommPort CPAS Under Vehicle Inspection Systems (UVIS)
Area-scan under vehicle inspection systems imaging full undercarriages at up to 75 km/h with no image stitching, rated for 78-tonne vehicles and minus 40 to plus 74 degrees C.

CommPort Technologies builds under vehicle inspection systems around CPAS, which stands for Comm Port Area Scan. The distinction matters technically. Area scan produces instantaneous full-frame imaging of a vehicle undercarriage as it passes over the unit, with no lag, no delay and no image stitching. Line-scan systems, which assemble a picture from successive slices, are precisely what CommPort positions against.
Throughput is the practical benefit. The system supports vehicle speeds of up to 75 km/h with frame rates up to 900 frames per second, so a checkpoint does not have to force vehicles to crawl across the scanner to obtain a usable image. It is designed to handle 78-tonne heavy vehicles at those speeds, and operates across a climate range of minus 40 to plus 74 degrees C, which covers Saudi summer surface temperatures comfortably.
The product line covers CPAS UVIS Systems as the core platform, CPAS ML and MG Network Multi-Lane Systems for sites running several inspection lanes under one management layer, the FLEX-HH-300 hand-held portable inspection kit, and an LPR module that captures, reads and validates plates against watchlists and databases. Installations can be permanent or portable, with software on a local or networked server.
Detection is comparison-driven rather than purely visual. The software compares each scan to baseline images previously taken of that same vehicle and flags anomalies such as added devices, missing devices and suspicious attachments, using AI-powered automatic change detection. Every inspection writes a searchable record holding the time-stamped and lane-labelled undercarriage image set, LPR data, driver image where enabled, vehicle metadata and operator notes.
Stebilex supplies and installs CommPort UVIS across Saudi Arabia from Al Khobar and Riyadh. Typical applications are military and government compounds, petrochemical and energy facilities, ports and border points, airports and high-profile hotels. We can coordinate integration with barriers, RFID, LPR and the site command centre, and advise on permanent versus portable deployment.
