BFT Sliding Gate Operators
Sliding gate motors for leaves from 400 kg to 3,500 kg, covering residential, commercial and industrial gates with U-Link integration and intensive duty ratings.
BFT's sliding gate range is organised by gate weight rather than by application label, which makes selection straightforward once the leaf is weighed. DEIMOS covers the lighter end at 400 to 800 kg, ARES handles 1,000 to 1,500 kg, ICARO takes 2,000 kg, and the SP3500 industrial operator is rated to 3,500 kg on a three-phase supply.
The 24 V DEIMOS and ARES models are the ones to specify where the gate cycles frequently. DEIMOS ULTRA BT A600 drives a 600 kg leaf at 12 m/min from a 70 W motor with a 230 V board and 24 V motor, D-Track obstacle detection, magnetic limit switches and IP44 protection. ARES ULTRA BT covers 1,000 and 1,500 kg at 240 W and 400 W. ARES VELOCE SMART BT A1000 raises speed to 15 m/min where throughput matters.
For heavier and industrial gates the AC models take over. ICARO SMART AC A2000 moves a 2,000 kg leaf at 9 m/min from a 750 W motor on a very intensive duty rating with the LEO B CBB L02 board and clutch plus encoder obstacle detection. SP3500 with the TRI 400 configuration handles 3,500 kg at 10 m/min from a 550 W motor on a 400 V three-phase supply, with IP54 protection and sensitive edge obstacle detection.
U-Link is available across most of the range and is worth specifying deliberately. It allows operators, control boards and accessories to be configured and diagnosed as a connected system rather than as isolated devices, which shortens commissioning on multi-gate sites and makes fault-finding practical for a maintenance contractor. Note that DEIMOS AC A600 does not include U-Link.
One planning note for consultants: BFT rates sliding operators by gate weight and publishes no maximum gate length figure, so the leaf mass and the duty cycle are the numbers to work from, not the opening span.
