Suprema
Suprema BioStation 3
Contactless face recognition terminal matching in under 0.2 seconds, with IP65 and IK06 rating, 100,000 user capacity and support for card, PIN, QR and mobile credentials.

The Suprema BioStation 3 is a face recognition access terminal built for high-traffic doors where speed of authentication decides whether the queue moves. Matching completes within 0.2 seconds at a working distance of 0.3 to 1.0 metres, with 0.6 to 1.0 metres recommended, covering user heights from 1.4 to 1.9 metres.
It is genuinely multi-credential rather than face-only. Alongside 1:N face recognition it accepts RFID cards, PIN, QR and barcode up to 32 ASCII characters, and mobile credentials over NFC and BLE. The BS3-DB model reads 125 kHz EM plus 13.56 MHz MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3 and FeliCa. The BS3-APWB adds HID Prox and iCLASS SE, SR and Seos, plus Wi-Fi and PoE+.
Capacity suits enterprise deployments: 100,000 users, 50,000 face templates for 1:N identification, 100,000 for 1:1 verification, 5,000,000 text logs and 50,000 image logs, running on a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 32 GB flash and 4 GB RAM. Live Face Detection guards against photographs and other spoofing attempts, and the unit recognises faces wearing masks, glasses, hats, beards and the niqab.
For Saudi sites the IP65 and IK06 rating and the minus 20 to plus 50 degrees C operating range matter as much as the biometrics, since many doors are semi-exposed or open onto uncooled circulation areas. Note the power requirement carefully: the terminal takes 12 or 24 VDC, or PoE+ to IEEE 802.3at, and standard 802.3af PoE is not supported.
Stebilex supplies, installs and integrates BioStation 3 across Saudi Arabia from Al Khobar and Riyadh, including RS-485 and OSDP v2 wiring to existing panels, Wiegand interfacing where legacy infrastructure remains, enrolment workflow setup and handover training for facility teams.
