Iris ID
Iris ID pioneered commercial iris recognition and builds the IrisAccess platform — contactless, highly accurate identity authentication for access control, time and attendance and national-scale identity programmes.

Iris recognition answers a problem that fingerprints struggle with in the Kingdom: hands that are gloved, dusty, wet or worn down by manual work simply do not read reliably. An iris scan is contactless, unaffected by what is on the hands, and produces one of the lowest false-match rates of any biometric modality — which is why it appears in high-assurance sites rather than ordinary office doors.
Iris ID Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Cranbury, New Jersey and was formerly the LG Electronics Iris Technology Division, active in iris recognition research, development and production since 1997 before being established as an independent company. It was the first to license, produce and market a commercially viable iris recognition product, the IrisAccess 2200, introduced in 1999, and today describes more than 25 years of biometric innovation.
The current hardware range includes the IrisAccess iA1000 platform, the IrisTime iT100 enrolment and identification terminal, the iCAM family covering models such as D2000, TD200, T10, M300 and the R100 series, the iBAR 600E and the OU500. Software includes iAMS for access management, iTMS for time management, iData EAC and an iris SDK for integration into third-party systems.
Iris ID products carry CE, FCC and KC certifications and comply with ISO/IEC biometric data standards including ISO 19794-5, ISO 29794-5 and ISO 29794-6, plus IEC 62471 photobiological safety and SOC 2. For a Saudi government or aviation client, that standards trail is what makes the technology procurable, not just technically attractive.
Realistic Saudi applications are where identity certainty outweighs cost per door: secure areas at airports and border points, correctional and justice facilities, data centres and control rooms, pharmaceutical and laboratory environments, and workforce time and attendance where buddy-punching has to be eliminated. The contactless nature of the scan also suits healthcare and clean environments.
Stebilex Systems supplies Iris ID biometric systems across Saudi Arabia and supports them from Al Khobar and Riyadh. We help define where iris recognition genuinely earns its place in a design, plan enrolment workflows, and integrate the terminals with existing access control, time and attendance and identity management platforms.
