GEM Gianni

GEM (Gianni Industries) manufactures electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, drop bolts and exit hardware — the door-level components that make an access control system actually hold a door shut.

A card reader decides who may enter. A lock decides whether they can. GEM makes the second half of that equation: electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, drop bolts, shear locks and exit hardware sized for everything from a glass office door to a heavy warehouse entry, in the holding forces and mounting formats that real Saudi door schedules demand.

GEM is the brand of Gianni Industries, Inc., established in 1992 and based in Tucheng District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The name stands for Gianni Electro Magnet, reflecting the company's original focus on electromagnetic locking devices, and it holds worldwide patents on its own product designs. Its products are distributed in more than 70 countries.

The electromagnetic lock range spans light-duty through heavy-duty holding forces, in single and dual-magnet formats for single and double-leaf doors, with weatherproof variants for external and semi-exposed openings. Mounting accessories — Z and L brackets, glass door clamps, top-jamb plates — are part of the catalogue rather than an afterthought, which matters when the door was built before the security system was designed.

Beyond maglocks, GEM supplies electric strikes, electromechanical and electric drop bolts, delayed-egress devices, push-to-exit buttons, emergency break-glass releases, key switches, door holders and dedicated power supplies. Being able to source the lock, the release, the button and the power supply from one manufacturer removes a common cause of site problems: mismatched voltages and current draw across three brands.

In the Kingdom, GEM hardware is routinely used in office fit-outs, hospitals and clinics, universities, government buildings, retail and warehousing. External applications need particular care — a standard maglock on a gate or a semi-exposed stairwell door in Jeddah humidity will corrode, which is why the weatherproof series and correct sealing practice belong in the specification from the start.

Stebilex Systems supplies genuine GEM locking hardware across Saudi Arabia from Al Khobar and Riyadh. We match holding force and mounting format to the actual door, specify fail-safe or fail-secure behaviour against the fire strategy, and make sure the locks, power supplies and release devices work correctly with the readers and controllers on the project.
