Desert Rock Resort, Red Sea — Perimeter Access Control

Hydraulic bollards and automated gate barriers across two gates at a luxury resort in the Red Sea Project, securing vehicle access without intruding on the guest experience.

Desert Rock Resort sits inside the Red Sea Project, one of the Kingdom’s flagship tourism developments. Hotel 13 needed to control which vehicles reached the property, at an entry gate and an exit gate, without the arrival feeling like a checkpoint.

That is a harder brief than it sounds. Resort security has to work against the same threats as any other perimeter, while remaining almost invisible to the guest it is protecting. Equipment that clanks, stalls or looks industrial undermines the thing the resort is selling.

Stebilex supplied and installed FAAC hydraulic bollards integrated with FAAC automated gate barriers across both gates. The bollards provide the physical vehicle restriction; the barriers manage routine traffic flow, operating smoothly and quietly in a hospitality setting.

Running the two together gives the resort a graded response: the barrier handles everyday access, while the bollards hold the line as the physical restriction. Both were specified with a finish appropriate to a high-end environment rather than a standard industrial specification.

The system was supplied, installed and commissioned by Stebilex teams working inside the Kingdom, with control integrated across both entry and exit points.
