Madar Warehouse - Gate Barrier System for Truck Access

Stebilex KSA installed heavy-duty gate barriers with loop detectors on the truck entry and exit lanes at Madar Warehouse, Jeddah. Truck movement is now automated, safer and free of manual delays.

Automatic Gate Barriers

Madar Warehouse in Jeddah handles high-frequency truck traffic throughout the day. With a manually operated gate, every arriving vehicle becomes an extra stop at the entrance, delays compound through the busiest logistics hours, and personnel are working on foot around moving heavy vehicles at the gate line.

The warehouse needed an access control solution that could safely manage high-frequency truck traffic, automate entry and exit operations, accurately detect vehicle presence, and reduce manual intervention and operational delays.

Stebilex supplied and installed heavy-duty automated gate barriers on the entry and exit lanes, integrated with loop detectors that provide precise vehicle detection and drive the barrier automatically as trucks arrive and clear.

The loop detector is what makes a truck lane genuinely safe. It senses the vehicle inductively rather than optically, so it is unaffected by vehicle colour, dust, glare or night conditions - the exact conditions that defeat simpler sensors. More importantly, it will not allow the boom to drop while a trailer is still crossing, and it closes the barrier the moment the lane is clear, which is precisely the behaviour a long articulated vehicle requires.

The scope covered supply of the gate barriers and loop detectors, installation at the warehouse entry and exit lanes, system configuration and functional testing, and final commissioning for operational readiness.

The gate barrier system is fully operational. Truck entry and exit is streamlined, safety and traffic control at the gate are improved, congestion and waiting times are reduced, and the warehouse has reliable access control supporting daily logistics operations.
